Second-Chance Offers

When a lot goes unsold or a winner does not pay, the house may offer it to you at a price for a limited time.

Two things can put a closed lot back on the table: the winner never paid, or the reserve was not met. The house may then offer the lot to the next bidder in line, or to anyone it chooses, at a set price.

Steps

  1. Open the link in the email while signed in as the same account the offer was made to.
  2. Read the price, premium, tax and total, then Accept or Decline before the time shown.
  3. Accepting is a purchase: your invoice is created and finalized at once and is ready to pay.

You get an email with the price, premium, tax and total, and a link. Open it while signed in as the same account the offer was made to and choose accept or decline. Offers expire at the time shown in the email.

Accepting is a purchase: the lot moves to you at that price, and you get an invoice for it right away, finalized and ready to pay.
