Selling on Crossroad Sellers: How a House Joins

Auction houses apply at crossroadsellers.com/sell; a person reviews every application; the owner verifies their identity, sets up a second way to sign in and connects a bank account before publishing.

Crossroad Sellers is the platform under each auction house's site. A house that wants to run its auctions here starts at Why Sell with Us (the Sell with Us link in the footer of the platform's own site).

What a house gets

Its own address, yourhouse.crossroadsellers.com; cataloguing on iPhone and iPad that works with no signal; timed auctions with staggered closes and a soft close on each lot; buyer invoices, consignor statements and payouts to the house's own bank account; approval of every bidder, card holds, bidding limits and identity checks on big winners; and this help centre.

How joining works

  1. Apply: about ten minutes. Apply to Sell opens the house registration form (the I run an auction house tab of Create Your Account).
  2. A person reviews it by hand. Every application is read by someone at Crossroad Sellers, who may call.
  3. Verify and connect: the owner confirms their identity, sets up a second way to sign in, and connects the bank account payouts go to.
  4. Run the first auction.

What it costs, and what we ask

No setup fee. The platform takes a share of the buyer's premium, billed monthly; the hammer price is never touched, and card fees are the payment processor's standard rate. The share is agreed with the house before it publishes. We ask for a real, operating auction house; an auctioneer licence if the state requires one; an identity check for the owner; and a verified business bank account before publishing.
