Getting Around on a Phone
On a phone the links fold into the menu button with three lines at the top left. Sign in, the bell and your picture stay in the bar.
On a phone there is not room for every link across the top, so they fold into a menu.
- Open it with the button with three lines at the top left, next to the auction house's name. The menu slides out from the left.
- Inside are Auctions (or Auction houses), Search and, if you are not signed in, Sign in and Register.
- Close it by pressing the button again, tapping anywhere outside the menu, or pressing Escape on a keyboard.
Sign in stays in the bar at the top right, so you never have to open the menu to find it. Once you are signed in, the bell and your picture sit there instead.
On a computer nothing folds away. The bar at the top shows three small pictures: a shop (the auction houses, or on a house's own site its auctions), a magnifying glass (Search) and a question mark (Help). Point at one, or move to it with the Tab key, and its name appears. A small dot sits under the one for the page you are on.
There is also an iPhone app that does everything the website does for a bidder, with alerts on your lock screen.
