Your Address, and Why It Is Needed
A verified address for invoices, shipping and tax; start typing and pick the suggestion.
Your address goes on your invoices, is where anything you win is shipped, and tells the house which sales tax applies. Keep it current under Your account → Personal Info.
Steps
- Your picture → Your account → the Payment and Contact tab → Details and Address.
- Type the number and street in the address box and pick yours from the list; city, state and ZIP fill in.
- Save.
The address box suggests real addresses as you type: type the number and street, pick yours from the list, and the city, state and ZIP fill in. Pick from the list rather than typing everything by hand; a suggested address is one the post office recognizes. A form will not accept a partial address.
Changing your address after an invoice is finalized does not change that invoice. Tell the house if something you won should go somewhere else.
Your Mobile Number
The same page holds your mobile number, and every bidder has one: it is asked for when you register and the page will not save without it. Type it with the area code; it is kept in one standard form and shown the way you would dial it. It is used for a text when the house needs you and, once texting is switched on, to confirm it is really you. Your email address is changed under Sign-in and security, not here.
In the App
In the Crossroad Sellers app, the Account tab → Your Details shows the same name, mobile number and address, and saves them under the same rules. Find my address there suggests real addresses as you type, and the phone's keyboard can offer the address from your own contact card. A change made in the app shows on the website at once, and the other way round.
