Help

How Crossroad Sellers works, for bidders, auction house staff and owners.

You came here from TJ Electric and AC Service. A question about your bids, an invoice or a pickup there goes to them — the Ask a question button does that.

Matching articles appear below as you type. Use the down arrow to move into them.

Common questions

  1. Registering to BidRegister once on crossroadsellers.com, then register to bid at each auction house from one of its lots; the house approves you and gives you a paddle number.
  2. Placing a Bid and Maximum BidsEnter the most you would pay; the site bids for you a step at a time, and you never pay your own maximum unless someone pushes you there.
  3. How a Timed Auction WorksLots close one after another, a set number of seconds apart that the house chooses, and a late bid extends only that lot.
  4. Your InvoiceOne invoice per auction, frozen when the auction closes, under Account → Invoices.
  5. Paying an InvoiceA saved card is charged automatically; otherwise pay from the invoice page by card or, where the house offers it, Amazon Pay. Bidders cannot pay by bank transfer or bank debit.
  6. Pickup or ShippingSome lots must be collected, some can ship, and you choose on the invoice when both are possible.
  7. What You Pay: Hammer, Premium and TaxThe price you won at, plus the buyer's premium and any sales tax, in whole cents.
  8. Signing In, Passwords and PasskeysSign in at login.crossroadsellers.com with your email, then a passkey (fingerprint, face, PIN), your password, an emailed code or Google. Twelve characters or more for a password; add a passkey and you will not need it.
  9. Getting HelpSearch here first; a question you send goes to the auction house, who reply by email.
  10. One Account for Every Auction HouseYour login is platform-wide; your approval, paddle number and limits are per house.
